Cult female images in cinema: 100 years in 3 minutes

In the video “100 Years of Fashion: Women in Film”, the winner of the competitions “Miss USA 2012” and “Miss Universe 2012”, an American Olivia Culpo, appeared. The first way that Olivia Culpo demonstrated was Cleopatra from the film of the same name, which was released in 1917. The story of the Queen of Egypt is shown in the format of a mute black and white biographical drama. The role of Cleopatra was played by American actress Ted Bara (Theda Bara). Unfortunately, the film is considered lost.
2. Esther – the film “Ben-Hur: the story of Christ”, 1925
The second film image was Esther from the silent black-and-white film “Ben-Hur: The Story of Christ”, the role of which was played by American actress May McAvoy.
3. Dorothy Gale – The Wizard of Oz film, 1939
The third image is Dorothy Gale from the American fairytale musical film The Wizard of Oz. For work in this film, American actress Judy Garland (Judy Garland) received a special youthful Oscar.
