《Never Let Me Go》原著小說於2005年出版,日裔英國作家石黑一雄的細膩筆觸備受好評,更躋身《時代週刊》評選史上百大英文小說。

  1. i was in deep thought while/after watching the film. tears were running down helplessly when the teacher told the kids how their future would be. the atmophere is too thick to breathe! it's cruel, unethical and immoral to do such things to a 'human being' even they are made to do so! 'the island' doesnt have this feeling of sadness because they grow up happily and dont know the truth as long as they are on the island.
if clonging is evil, stop it and let nature does the job.

  2. I watched this film in the flight, it was really impressed me. Those children they didn't have the right to live. They only lived for others. Organ donation seemed to voluntary... but it was the only task they needed to complete even by their lives. It was really sad that whatever they done.. it never changed
